Upscalling & Implemetation Details:

Ustadi received KES 6,813,000 in 2022 from AgriFI CS APP to implement a 2-year project titled; “Upscaling agricultural technologies to enhance reared fish productivity and improve incomes for smallholder farmers in Kilifi, Kenya”. The project is upscaling the adoption of aquaculture technologies by smallholder farmers. Ustad is working with farmer groups, the project is strengthening the capacity of Shibe Delta and Kijiweni hatcheries to supply quality fingerings of tilapia to the farmers. The project is implemented in Kilifi County. The project targets to reach 1,000 farmers directly. The project ends in March 2024.
