Ripple Effect (Formally Send a Cow Kenya) is a Non-Governmental Organization with a mission to inspire and equip Kenyan communities to unlock their potential, transforming lives and protecting the planet. The goal is to end poverty among smallholder farmers in Kenya. Ripple Effect works with rural families in Western Kenya by encouraging them to pass on to others the gift of knowledge and other resources.

Projects Implemetation Overview:

Ripple Effect is up scaling two value chains namely; KIIC and Grain Amaranths. The project is implemented through the pass on a gift model. Farmers who receive project inputs (seeds, chicks) are expected to pass an equivalent gift to a follower farmer.
