Upscalling & Implemetation Details:

BCN received KES 7,893,088 in 2022 to implement a project titled “Promoting aquaculture for enhanced productivity and Income (PA4EPI) Project”. The project is promoting cage fish production in Lake Victoria, Migori County. BCN is working with certified fingering multipliers, fisher folk groups, and the beach management units (BMUs).

The project aims at increasing access to quality fingerings and building the local capacity for cage fish farming. The project is also training the capacity of youths in the fabrication of cages. The project runs for 2 years and targets to reach 1,500 beneficiaries.
